Sports games work in a browser when they pick one moment from the real sport and build everything around it. Retro Bowl picks the passing play; Basket Random picks the scramble under the hoop. Neither tries to simulate a full ruleset, which is why both are playable in under a minute.

Retro Bowl is the deep one — a genuine franchise sim hiding behind arcade throws, with a draft, a salary cap and a locker room that reacts to your press answers. Basket Random is the party one: ragdoll physics, one button per player, and a court that randomises after every basket. One rewards a season of planning, the other rewards ten minutes with a friend.
